It is always hard to say goodbye…to a golf season. Many times it comes too soon for those of us in the Midwest. The change from fall golf to winter can be swift and abrupt. After season’s end, golfers begin spending their time searching for new equipment, reliving memories through golf photos and planning the first rounds for the next season.

I encourage my Midwest friends to acknowledge their final round. Reflect on the exciting golf courses played and laughs shared with friends. These are the reasons we miss it when it is gone (or less accessible during winter).

Each season winds down with an annual ritual. This process includes taking the golf clubs out of the car and into the basement. This will be their resting place for the next few months (hopefully). For some, a good last cleaning is in order.

Cheers and goodbye to the 2020 golf season! I enjoyed it thoroughly!!
