My name is Derek Wise; hence, Golf WISE-ly!

I am a resident of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, a suburb of Madison. I have been playing golf since I was 11 years old on my home course in Sparta, Wisconsin. I moved to Arizona when I was 23 years old playing many of the top courses in the Sonora desert. I moved back to Wisconsin with my wife and kids in late 2012 playing many courses throughout the state.
I look forward to sharing my golf adventures on this blog offering a unique perspective on golf in Wisconsin adding my interest in golf style as well.

Wisconsin is quickly turning into a destination for golfers across the world. I started this blog to capture my golf outings throughout the state and reviewing household name courses as well as tracks off the beaten path.
